Police Station BBD in Lucknow
Criminal morale is high in Uttar Pradesh. The situation is such that even the policemen themselves are not safe in the state. A case of abducting a woman inspector and forcing her to withdraw the case has come to light in the capital Lucknow itself. In this regard, the Women Inspector has registered a case under relevant sections against three accused including named accused Anshuman Pandey, resident of Handia, Prayagraj in BBD (Babu Banarasi Das) Police Station.
According to police, the incident took place at Kumharanpurwa near Kisan Path in Juggaur at around 12.30 pm on Sunday. Police have started investigation in this matter. In the complaint given to the police, the victim said that she was at her home on Sunday. Meanwhile someone called his name from outside. Hearing this sound, I came out and saw two or three people. These people snatched the mobile from his hand and forcibly put him in their car and drove away.
The accused left the vehicle on Bhitauli Charrasta and fled.
On the way, the accused forced him to withdraw the FIR registered against the prime accused Anshuman Pandey. He also threatened to kill him if he did not do so. In the meantime, the accused also took his signature on two papers and left them on Bhitauli charrasta and fled. The victim said that as soon as he was released from the clutches of the accused, he informed the police control room and his brother. At the time of this incident, his brother had gone to the police station to file a complaint in this case.

As soon as the news of the incident came to light, the police swung into action and started scanning the CCTV camera footage in and around the incident spot. The victim said that the main accused Anshuman was harassing her for a long time. He would often call her and abuse her. Regarding this, he had blocked the accused’s number earlier. But he changed the number and started calling. In such a situation, he blocked a total of 87 numbers of the accused.
Accused is pushing for marriage
Even after this, when the actions of the accused did not decrease, he started pressuring for marriage. He also blackmailed and demanded 2 lakh rupees. Annoyed, the victim filed a case against the accused in the Hazratganj police station. After this the accused was forcing the victim lady inspector to withdraw the case. According to Inspector BBD Ajay Narayan Singh, a case has been registered against the accused and his accomplices under sections of kidnapping and investigation has been started.
