Politics has heated up over the by-elections in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party Punjab has accused BJP candidate Sheetal Angural of breaking promises to the people of Jalandhar West. Minister Aman Arora asked Sheetal Angural five questions while addressing a press conference in Jalandhar on Thursday. He said that they should answer these questions to the people of Jalandhar West. Meanwhile, AAP’s Jalandhar Lok Sabha candidate Pawan Kumar Tinu and AAP MLA Barinder Goyal from Lehra Gaga were also present.

The AAP leader alleged that Sheetal Angural has imposed this by-election on the people of Jalandhar for her own selfish interests. He said that the people here have been betrayed, the people of Jalandhar will now teach this deviant leader a lesson. Arora said that instead of the people of her area and her mandate, Sheetal Angural chose a party that has shown a dictator-like attitude.

Appeal not to vote for Sheetal Angural

The AAP leader said that BJP is working to destroy our constitution and democracy and people like Sheetal Angural are helping them to do so. The AAP leader urged the common people not to vote for such people and parties. He said that this is a threat to our democracy. He said that only Aam Aadmi Party is working to save Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s constitution.

Aman Arora said that the people of Jalandhar West know Sheetal Angural well but the Aam Aadmi Party also wants to raise some questions, which should be answered by the former MLA. Arora said that Sheetal Angural resigned two-and-a-half months ago and then after the general elections, she tried to withdraw her resignation but by then the Speaker had accepted her resignation.

Why did Sheetal Angural change her upbringing so often?

The AAP leader asked that Sheetal Angural was with the BJP for two and a half months and was campaigning for them, then what happened that she withdrew her resignation soon after the elections and wanted to come back to AAP? Did he think that people of Punjab will not accept BJP here? Arora said BJP has two MLAs and no MP in Punjab. He questioned that if Sheetal Angural and Sushil Kumar Rinku were enemies, then what was the situation that they had to be friends with each other?

Aman Arora said that Aam Aadmi Party candidate Mohinder Bhagat’s image is very clean. His father Chunni Lal Bhagat worked hard for Jalandhar and did many developmental works as a minister. So the people of Jalandhar West should vote for an honest leader like Mohinder Bhagat in this by-election.
