Atishi, in his letter, said that the Aadmi Party had launched a plan to install bus marshals in Delhi buses in 2015, with the aim of ensuring the safety of women and children in buses. He further said that for the last 8 years this bus marshal has been performing his duty with full responsibility. Atishi said that due to the pink bus ticket scheme, the number of women in Delhi buses has increased due to which the need for bus marshals has also increased.

Atishi said that on one hand this scheme was running well for the last 8 years, on the other hand now LG sir, you have stopped their salary, they are not being called for duty, we were told that the reason was because the bus had CCTV cameras installed. Due to which women are safe.
