A unique love story came to a sad end in Rohtas, Bihar. This story of true love is not about humans but between monkeys and apes. The female monkey committed suicide due to the grief of the monkey’s death. A forest department team and local people cremated the bodies of both as per Hindu rituals, after which a samadhi was constructed for both.
The case is of Dalmianagar-Sidhauli road in Dehri area of the district. On Monday, a monkey suddenly collided with a high voltage electric line. He died a painful death due to electric shock. After the incident, people present there started cremating the dead body of the monkey. The information about the incident was also given to the forest department.
The monkey got caught in the high tension line
There is a tree where the accident happened. Some monkeys were jumping on the same tree. According to local people, a monkey suddenly hit the high tension line passing near the tree. After which it fell down with a loud thud. His whole body was burnt due to electric shock and he died agonizingly on the spot. The local people started preparing for the last rites of the monkey’s body. Then people were surprised to see what suddenly happened.
The monkey committed suicide by jumping over the wire.
According to local people, the monkey committed suicide due to grief over the death of the monkey on Singhauli Road. He said that while people were cremating the dead body of the monkey, a monkey was watching the whole incident. She was disturbed and suddenly she jumped on the electric wire. He also died due to electric shock. People say that the monkey committed suicide by jumping on the same power line that killed the monkey. People are discussing this incident in different ways. Some people say that the monkey committed suicide in grief of the monkey’s death.
