Ramkrishna alias Golu Bhavsar, a hotelier living in Lalpura, Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, has collected more than a thousand idols of Ganapati Bappa and kept them in his house. This is a proof of his unique devotion, making him one of the greatest devotees of Ganapati Bappa. Ramakrishna Golu Bhavsar states that his father late Anandi Lal Bhavsar inspired him to buy idols. Today, his house has attractive idols from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other cities besides Madhya Pradesh.
According to him, the house houses more than a thousand idols, which have been collected from different parts of each city. He says that whenever he was in trouble, Bappa saved him from it. Hence his entire family has special faith in Ganapati Bappa and special events are organized in his place from Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi festival. Ramakrishna’s day begins with the worship of Bappa, after which he steps out of the house. Every member of his family leaves the house only after bowing to Bappa and seeking his blessings. This is a proof of his devotion and devotion, which makes him a true devotee of Ganapati Bappa.
