A unique and shocking case has come to light from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Here a woman suffering from blood cancer gave birth to twins through normal delivery. Both the children are perfectly healthy. The surprising thing was that the woman herself did not know about blood cancer. She learned about the disease when she was delivered. This unique delivery took place at MTH Hospital.
Daughter-in-law Chinki Rathore (22 years) from a labor family living in Khargon, Indore is suffering from blood cancer. But even she herself did not know that she had such a dangerous disease. Family members say that the birth of twins through normal delivery during a life-threatening illness and the health of the triplets is definitely nothing short of a miracle or a blessing for our family.
Assistant Professors Akshay Lahoti and Sumitra Yadav of the Medical College along with Super Specialty Hospital Superintendent Dr. Sumit Shukla said that when the family first brought the 22-year-old girl from Khargone to the hospital for treatment, she herself did not know that she had blood cancer. The woman was about 25 weeks pregnant at the time.

The delivery of the woman has been done with extreme caution and without hospitalisation. The doctors said – we ourselves were surprised to see this case. This is the first time such a case has come before us. So far, 200 cases of cancer patients becoming mothers have been reported across the country. But this is the first case of Indore.
