Assembly elections are going to be held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370, for which all parties are gearing up. The BJP has staked its claim on Muslim candidates, while the Congress has formed an alliance with the National Conference, but former state chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has dismissed all parties’ promises as empty and claimed that the government will be formed this time. will not be created with an absolute majority in the state.
Former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the claims made by all the parties in the elections are hollow, although I was unwell, we could not do what we wanted to do in these elections, but here we have 20 to 22 youths. Elections will be held three times
He further said that we are saddened that elections were held three times in these 10 years and special state status was taken away from Jammu and Kashmir. We are very sorry for that. I also said in my speech in the Rajya Sabha that the state should get statehood back, today the Prime Minister and the Home Minister are speaking about it in the meetings.
