A strange case has come to light in Purnia, Bihar. A woman has alleged that her husband keeps marrying new brides. So far he has had 3 marriages. But again he is going to marry for the fourth time. When the matter reached the counseling center, the husband said- what should I do, no wife can bear it. Everyone hesitates. The people at the counseling center were also surprised to hear the man’s words. He then gave judgment in this case.
The case is from Bardela village in Dhamdaha police station area. Shabnam Khatun, who lives here, filed an application against her husband in Purnia SP. He said that 13 years ago a man divorced his first wife and married her. Both also had three boys. After only three years of this marriage, her husband left her. Then he brought home the third bride. But now husband’s mind is also satisfied with that. She is preparing for her fourth marriage.
The SP was also surprised to hear the woman’s words. The matter was referred to the counseling centre. The victim and her husband were called to the counseling center here on Monday. The victim Shabnam said- Sir, I was married to this person 10 years ago. Then he left his first wife and married me. But as soon as we had three sons within three years, this man’s heart was filled with me. This left me and my sons alone to stumble from house to house. Then he married another woman and settled elsewhere.

The victim said- Now it has come to light that he is also tired of his third wife and is going to marry for the fourth time. But there is no guarantee how long that marriage will last. Because he likes new women. As soon as he gets tired of one, he meets another. But he does not think about how his abandoned wives will survive. I work as a laborer to feed myself and my children. Whatever I earn, I can only afford to eat. I want to educate my children. But I am helpless. no money I want him to give maintenance allowance to me and my children.
Wives screamed
When the woman’s husband was asked about this, he said – Sir, what should I do? No wife can stay with me. Everyone fights. That’s why I’m getting married again. Hearing such words from the husband’s mouth, the wife said – Yes, this is just milk wash. All his wives are wrong. Sir, wife can lie. But our three wives of this man say that he is not a good husband. However, I am willing to live with him if he supports me and my children’s expenses. I am doing this only for the good of my children.
Decision of Counseling Centre
After hearing both sides, the counseling center decided that the husband would spend Rs 2,000 per month on his wife. Also, he will not marry for the fourth time citing religion. If his complaint is received again, he will be directly sent to jail. The husband has accepted this condition.
