In Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district, a woman was standing on the roadside to go to court in connection with her case, when three men in a car abducted her. The woman tried hard to scream, but she couldn’t. The trio kidnapped the woman and took her to the forest where they raped her. The incident was reported to the police. The police have registered a case in this matter and arrested the three accused.
In the case of Anpara, the accused dragged the woman and drugged her unconscious. It is alleged that when the woman opened her eyes, her clothes were open and she fell behind a temple in the forest, with multiple injury marks on her body. The woman asked the accused – why did they do this wrong? So one of the accused said that he was with the Bhadohi district police and allegedly threatened the woman and threatened not to tell anyone about it.
The police were called from the forest
For help, the woman, freed from the clutches of the accused, immediately called the police dial number 112, where she narrated her entire ordeal to the police who reached the spot, from where the police informed their superiors about the incident. The police reached the spot and also inspected the abduction site and the rape site. After which the woman was taken home. The woman identified one of the accused, on the basis of which the police investigation proceeded.
Arrest of accused
After the victim lodged a complaint with the police about this incident, the police conducted an investigation. After interrogation and raid, the three accused have been arrested. The accused were absconding, the accused have been arrested after much effort by the police. The accused are said to be absconding since the incident. The victim was constantly in touch with the police regarding action against the accused.
