Police arrested the accused
Shivshankar, a resident of Barhua village in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, is in a bad condition and is crying. He is repeatedly saying that I have lost my daughter because of a crazy youth. Just 50 meters from home, he ran over my daughter with his car and I couldn’t even save her. The deceased girl’s name is Ankita Yadav. The father alleges that Rajkumar Yadav, who had a one-sided love affair, ran over his daughter to death with a car. Accused Prince is a native of Ganeshpur, Kushinagar. His father Virendra Yadav is a farmer. Prince’s maternal house is in Barhua village.

Villagers say that Prince was after Ankita since 2020. He was trying to forcefully talk to Ankita. When Ankita informed her mother about this, she scolded Prince. But he still did not agree. He also threatened his mother and said that he will marry only Ankita.
The car ran over the girl
Ankita’s family decided to get married elsewhere. When the prince came to know about this, he got angry. He started calling Ankita and threatening to ruin her life. According to her father, Ankita studies at Gangotri Devi College in Gorakhpur. On Wednesday morning she left home to go to school. She was waiting for an auto parked at a distance of 50 meters from the house. Meanwhile, Prince came there in a car and ran over Ankita. Ankita was seriously injured in the incident and died. Meanwhile, Prince’s car also went out of control and hit the pole. He was also injured. The villagers say that the people of Prince’s maternal family are domineering.
Ankita’s uncle Om Prakash Yadav said that my niece’s marriage was fixed in November 2025. She wanted to be a nurse. SP Dr. Gaurav Aggarwal said that as soon as the police got information about the incident, they arrested the accused from the hospital. The police are interrogating him.
