Punjab Police has arrested the second accused in the hand grenade attack
A hand grenade was hurled at a bungalow in Sector 10 in Chandigarh on September 11. After this incident, the Punjab Police has achieved great success in arresting the accused in this case. The police also arrested another accused within 72 hours of the incident.
Punjab Police has arrested another accused named Vishal from Delhi. Accused Vishal Masih is a resident of Raimal village in Dera Baba Nanak. He is an associate of earlier arrested accused Rohan. Police have made this third arrest in this case. Earlier, the police also arrested the auto driver in which the accused reached the bungalow.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav shared the arrest information on social media. He posted on his social media handle X and claimed that the accused of Chandigarh grenade blast has been arrested with the help of central agencies. So far 3 arrests have been made in this case. Punjab Police arrested two accused and Chandigarh Police arrested auto driver Anil Kumar.

What was the whole matter
Two accused came in an auto to Kothi No. 575 of Sector-10, Chandigarh and threw a hand grenade into the bungalow. This incident took place on September 11. Family members were present inside the house when the incident took place. After the explosion of the hand grenade, the glass of the windows of the bungalow and flower pots were also broken.
There was a seven to eight foot crater where the hand grenade fell. Immediately after this incident, the police took action and started searching for the accused. The police informed that the house belongs to Punjab Police officer Gurkeerat Chahal and the attackers had come to target him.
The police have succeeded in its investigation and have arrested both the accused. However, this incident was also being linked to Khalistan terrorists. On the other hand, after the arrest of the accused Rohan and Vishal, the police are interrogating them both.
