Panditji ordered Chana Pulao and the restaurant owner gave him Chicken Pulao.

A unique case has come to light from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. Here a Panditji ordered gram pulao for himself but the restaurant people gave him chicken pulao. Panditji was shocked to see pieces of chicken along with pulao in the thali. After this he lodged a complaint at Omati Police Station. Based on this complaint, the police seized a sample of chicken pulao and sent it to the food department for further action.

In fact, Akash Kant Dubey, who runs a cafe in the Chandrika Tower area of the city, sent one of his employees to fetch gram pulao, when the employee returned with a plate of chicken pulao. When customer Akash Kant Dubey found this strange, he went straight to the police station. After reaching Omati Police Station in Jabalpur, Pandit Ji i.e. Akash Kant Dubey explained the entire matter to the police officials and demanded strict action against the restaurant serving chicken pulao instead of gram pulao.

The victims come from a Brahmin family

Customer Akash Kant Dubey says that a Jabalpur restaurant running in the city cheated him because he belongs to a Brahmin family. In such a situation, there was an attempt to hurt his sentiments by giving him chicken pulao. Customer Akash Kant Dubey has lodged a police complaint and demanded strict action. Dubey says the incident not only hurts his sentiments, but he considers it a violation of religious beliefs. He also alleged that there are other such restaurants in the city which are showing such negligence. This is a serious issue and strict action needs to be taken. Here, Omati police in Jabalpur have sent chicken pullets to a lab for testing.

Pulao samples were sent to the lab

However, the incident has once again highlighted the need for caution in matters involving religious sentiments in the city. Customer Akash Kant Dubey made it clear that he did not intend to harm anyone but wanted such a mistake not to be repeated and that other people’s religious sentiments should also be taken care of. Rajpal Singh, in-charge of Omati police station here, said that action is being taken on Akash Kant Dubey’s complaint. The police have sent samples of the chicken pulao to the lab for testing to ascertain whether chicken pulao was actually mistakenly served instead of gram pulao. Further action will be taken in this matter only after the report of the food department.
