Rajasthan’s longest ropeway will be built in Jaipur. This 6.5 km ropeway will connect Jaigarh and Nahargarh. The contract for the construction of this ropeway has been awarded to a consultant company. Along with this, the possibility of constructing rope-way at four other places in Rajasthan is being considered. For this, the Hyderabad team is conducting a survey. The construction of this ropeway in Jaipur, which is known for its historical and cultural heritage, will further add to the beauty of the place.

Anyway, people come from all over the world to see the beauty of this city of forts and palaces. The Jaipur Development Authority and the Rajasthan Tourism Department hope that the ropeway will become a major attraction for tourists after its completion. The project claims that the construction of this ropeway will enhance the beauty of Jaipur’s famous Jaigarh, Nahargarh and Amer Palace. This ropeway will not only enhance the beauty of the city but also promote adventure tourism.

Four stations will be built

Not only this, domestic and foreign tourists coming here can easily see all three major monuments of the city within a short time. Earlier, a rope-way was built for the Vaishno Devi located in the hills of the Hanuman temple at Dhole in Jaipur. Now preparations are underway to start the work of this ropeway between Jaigarh and Amargarh soon. Four stations will be constructed for this ropeway. In which the first station will be built in Mawathe. For this, a space has been marked towards the parking area at the rear of Mawtha.

All three monuments can be seen in a few hours

Similarly, another station will be built as per Madho Singh’s wish. A booking counter and cafe facilities will also be available here. While the third station will be built at the entry gate of Jaigarh and the fourth station at Nahargarh. Until now, tourists have to travel a lot to see all three forts. Sometimes this takes all day. However, after the construction of this ropeway, all the three forts can be seen only in a few hours.

Work will start soon

This will save a lot of time for tourists and if they want they can visit other tourist places of Jaipur during this remaining time. According to Rajasthan Tourism Department officials, the state government made a proposal in February this year and sent it to the central government. Now the approval from the center has been received and the consultant company has started mobilizing resources before starting the work.
