UPSC ESE 2025: Window Opened Again for UPSC Engineering Services, Now You Can Apply Till This Date

Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has re-opened the application window for Engineering Services 2025. Any candidate who wants to apply for Engineering Services Exam 2025 can apply at UPSC official website upsc.gov.in. Last date to apply is 22 November 2024. The correction window for this will reopen on November 23 and close on November 29, 2024. Candidates who have already applied for UPSC ESE 2025 need not apply again. However, they can definitely update their OTR profile from 18th October to 22nd November.

In fact, this decision to re-open the application window has been taken after the government along with Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) decided to include its sub-cadre Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal and Telecommunication and Stores in the ESE 2025 scheme.

UPSC ESE 2025: How to Apply?

  • First of all, go to UPSC official website upsc.gov.in.
  • Then click on the Active Exam link, after which a list will appear.
  • After that click on ESE 2025 Exam link and then a new page will open.
  • To apply, click on the link and fill the registration details.
  • Once all this is done, login to the account and fill the application form.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Click on submit and download the page.
  • Keep a hard copy of it with you for future reference.

UPSC Engineering Services 2025: How Many Posts Will Be Recruited?

UPSC ESE Preliminary Exam 2025 will be conducted on 8 June 2025. Through this recruitment drive, 232 posts will be filled for engineering services in various departments of UPSC.

Candidates applying for these posts should have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering from any recognized University. Applicant’s age should be minimum 21 years and not more than 30 years. However, age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

UPSC Engineering Services Exam: What is the Selection Process?

Candidates for UPSC Engineering Services will be selected in three stages, which include Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview. Candidates who are successful in the prelims will appear in the main exam and after that candidates who are successful in the main exam will be called for interview.
