The first day of the Bengaluru Test between India and New Zealand was washed away in rain. There is no forecast of rain on the next day i.e. Thursday October 17. Weather may remain clear till 10 am. A 30 to 40 percent chance of showers after 10 p.m. That means fans can expect the game to start the next day. However, interruptions may occur from time to time. The BCCI has said that everything will start the next morning 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. That means the toss will be at 8.45 instead of 9.00 and then the match will start at 9.15 instead of 9.30. This decision was made to compensate after the first day was completely wasted.
