Foreign Minister S. Pakistani media spread lies about Jaishankar, nothing like this happened in Islamabad

External Affairs Minister of India S. Jaishankar was recently visiting Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference. A big lie was spread about him by the Pakistani media during a conference held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. It was said that in Islamabad Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has spoken to Pakistan’s foreign minister about cricket diplomacy. But, the Indian media has denied such things citing its sources. The Indian government has not allowed Team India to travel to Pakistan for almost 17 years due to terrorist incidents and bad relations. This decision of the Government of India has also become an obstacle in the way of the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan’s lies exposed

The ICC tournament Champions Trophy, being held for the first time since 2017, is scheduled to be held in Pakistan next year. Amidst this suspense, the Pakistani media published news of a discussion between the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan regarding cricket, which the Indian media denied.

According to what the Indian media has written quoting its sources, nothing happened in Islamabad as shown and said by the Pakistani media in its report. ANI quoting its sources wrote that there was no discussion between India and Pakistan regarding the resumption of cricket ties during the visit of the Indian Foreign Minister to Islamabad.
