Mushir was traveling from Kanpur to Lucknow with his father Naushad Khan for an Irani Cup match when the accident took place. Mushir Khan is the younger brother of Team India player Sarfraz Khan. He has been selected in the Mumbai squad for Irani Cup 2024.
