IIM Ahmedabad student commits suicide
A shocking case has come to light from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Here an MBA student committed suicide in the college hostel. The case is from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. The body of a 24-year-old student here, who allegedly committed suicide, was found in the hostel room. The incident took place on Thursday evening. The student was pursuing the second year course of Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IIM.
It is not yet known why the student took such a drastic step. Vastrapur Police Station Police Inspector (PI) VD Mori said the student has been identified as 24-year-old Akshit Bhukya. Akshit was a resident of Warangal, Telangana.
A body was found hanging in the hostel
According to information, the city police control room received information about the suicide of a student at IIM-A around 3.45 pm on Thursday. Akshit’s body was found hanging in his room in a hostel in the new campus. When his other companions saw him hanging like this, they were horrified. He immediately informed the college administration and other teachers about this. When the college administration saw the body of the student hanging like this, they were also shocked. He immediately informed the student’s family at his home.
No suicide note found
The police were informed about this. Police reached the spot and started investigation. No suicide note was found near Akshit’s body, so the police are investigating the matter in every possible way. The police have seized the student’s mobile phone and laptop. It is suspected that he committed suicide, but the reasons are not known. At the same time, Akshit’s family members are in bad shape and crying.
