NCERT book accused of promoting love jihad

A man from Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district has accused the NCERT class III book of promoting love jihad. The person has also filed a written complaint with the police in this matter. In the complaint to the police, the person has said that there is a chapter in a class III book in which a girl named Reena is writing a letter to Ahmed. Finally Reena wrote to Ahmed, ‘Yours Reena’, to which he expressed his objection. An investigation has been started in this matter.

According to information, a person named Dr. Raghav Pathak, a resident of Chhatarpur, has accused NCERT’s third class environment book of spreading love jihad. Raghav Pathak said that the book contained an objectionable text titled ‘Chithi Ayi Hai’. This lesson is on page 17 of the book on environment. In this lesson it is said that a girl named Reena is writing a letter to Ahmed. Not only this, Reena finally reveals herself to be Ahmed’s. It will create the feeling of love jihad in the minds of young children.

Raghav Pathak has further written in his complaint that in a way the government is making laws to stop conspiracies like love jihad. On the other hand, the NCERT book itself is promoting it. He has demanded in the complaint that either the chapter be removed from the children’s book or the names of Ahmed and Reena be removed from it to prevent love jihad among children.

Anxiety about becoming a father

Raghav Pathak says that he is the father of a daughter, so he objects to the chapter. He has stated in the complaint that he does not want such an episode to affect his daughter and create any wrong feelings in her mind in future. He has given this application in writing to SDOP in Khajuraho. In this entire matter, SDOP of Khajuraho Salil Sharma has said that since the entire matter is related to the text book, he has sent the entire matter to the SP office. SDOP Salil Sharma also Dr. Raghavan has suggested that the whole matter belongs to the central government and the education ministry, so if they complain to their chairman, action may be taken soon.
