80 houses of Dalit families were targeted in Bihar’s Nawada. 100 miscreants fired indiscriminately and burnt 80 houses. Due to which many families became homeless. Police have arrested 10 accused including the main accused Nandu Paswan while acting in this case. Others are being sought. Police said that the main accused arrested has been identified as Nandu Paswan.
Nandu Paswan is a resident of Pranpur. It is the land mafia of the area. Now the police are interrogating all of them. Investigation has revealed that the case is related to a land dispute. The incident took place in Krishna Nagar village of Mufasil Police Station area. This village is also called Manzhi Tola. Houses have been built here for the Manjhi families. The party that set fire to these houses claims that the land belongs to them. But actually this land belongs to Bihar government. Currently, the police is investigating the case from all aspects.
