Himachal: Why did the bulldozer walk on the wall of the mausoleum in Hamirpur? The story unfolded

On Monday, the forest department demolished the illegal construction of a mausoleum in Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur. This mausoleum is in Daruhi village of Hamirpur. A wall was built near this mausoleum in forest department land. Describing this wall as illegal, the Hamirpur administration asked the forest department to take action. After this, the forest department officials demolished the wall with bulldozers.

This is the tomb of Lakhdata Pir. Its wall was built on forest department land. On getting information about this, the Hamirpur administration informed the officials of the forest department. After this, the forest department team reached Daruhi village with its force and demolished the illegal construction. A police team was also present along with forest department officials.

Police force deployed in the area

According to an official, the wall has been removed. No untoward incident occurred. However, as a precautionary measure, police arrangements have been made in this area. A police officer said that strict action will be taken against anyone who tries to create unrest in the city. Hamirpur is also the home district of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and veteran BJP leader Anurag Thakur.

Politics has heated up over the mosque dispute in Sanjauli, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the news of the collapse of the tomb wall in Hamirpur is much talked about. However, after the Sanjauli Masjid controversy, a heavy police presence has been deployed in the city. According to a police officer, the atmosphere is completely peaceful. No untoward incident reported. Employees are going to office in city offices. Tourists are also coming.

On September 11, thousands of activists of Hindu organizations protested against the illegal construction of a mosque in Sanjauli. Meanwhile, the protesters targeted the police and pelted stones, after which the police resorted to lathi charge. Police have registered an FIR against more than 50 people in this case.
