BJP is busy with the mission of forming the government for the third time in a row in Haryana. This time he is facing tough competition from Congress. By fielding Bhupendra Singh Hooda and his son Dipendra Hooda, the Congress is securing the votes of the Jat community. While the Congress believes in the equation of Jats, Muslims and Dalits, the BJP is gearing up to attract more communities on the lines of Uttar Pradesh.

On one hand, BJP is trying to woo Jats, the largest population of Haryana, on the other hand, it is trying to include Dalits and OBCs as well as other communities like Brahmins, Punjabis, Jats, Sikhs, Rajputs, Gurjars. . The most important part of the BJP’s strategy is to maximize the division of votes from communities that are not entirely united.

BJP will field Jayant Chaudhary

This is the reason why the BJP is going to field Jayant Chaudhary, who is considered a party of Jats and farmers in Western Uttar Pradesh, which is adjacent to Haryana, to make a dent in the Jat vote bank. Jats constitute more than 22 percent of Haryana’s population. BJP wants to send a message to Jat voters by giving some seats to Jayant Chaudhary’s party RLD in Haryana. Apart from this, BJP will also field Jayant Chaudhary in Haryana election campaign.

To woo Jat voters or rather, Chief Minister Saini is accusing former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda of exploiting Jats. Saini said that Hooda was the chief minister twice between 2005-2014. During this period the Hoodas exploited the Jats. Saini is also saying that he recently held a rally in Tosham. In which the Jat community openly raised their hands and said that they will vote for the BJP.

Efforts to help Scheduled Castes

Along with this, the party is also focusing on other communities that play an important role in winning and losing in the state. Scheduled Castes are the largest population in Haryana after Jats. Their number is about 21 percent. The party hopes to win Dalit votes with the help of its Jan Kalyan Yojanas.

The BJP’s strategy is to split the Dalit and Jat votebanks by attacking both the alliances of Abhay Chautala and Mayawati and Dushyant Chautala and Chandrasekhar as much as possible. At the same time, the Congress should prove itself as anti-Dalit by exposing the differences between Hooda and Kumari Shaileja.

Order to Badauli to indulge the Brahmin community

Saini has tried to win the trust of the Jats as well as the farming community by calling him a patriot. To woo the OBC community, the party already has an OBC chief ministerial face. In such a situation, BJP feels that the OBC community will unite and vote for it. To woo the Brahmin community, which accounts for 7.5 percent of the state’s population, the party has made its Brahmin leader Mohan Lal Badoli the state president of Haryana.

Along with this, the party is trying to attract 8 per cent Punjabis, 5 per cent Vaishyas, 4 per cent Jat Sikhs, 3.5 per cent Rajputs and almost equal numbers of Gurjars and other communities, apart from former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Western leaders from Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan have been assigned responsibilities in different sectors.
