Munjya Box Office Collection Day 35: It has been 15 days since the release of South Superstar Prabhas’ movie Kalki. Sharwari Vagh’s horror-comedy film Munjya was released 20 days before this. The film became a huge hit in just 20 days and earned 85 crores. After this, after the release of Kalki, the film needed another Rs 15 crore. And the film collected an average of Rs 1 crore per day. Because of this, even after the release of a big film like Kalki, the film moved at a snail’s pace and achieved this milestone. The film has collected more than 120 crore rupees worldwide.
Amazing in 35 days
The film did good business last weekend as well and earned around Rs 2 crore. After this the film collected Rs 0.25 crore on Monday, Rs 0.28 crore on Tuesday and Rs 0.25 crore on Wednesday. On Thursday, the film earned around 0.23 crores, taking the total collection of the film to 100.01 crores. Talking about Kalki, this film has earned around 550 crore rupees in India. Apart from this, its worldwide collection has reached around 1000 crore rupees.
Now it’s OTT’s turn
Talking about the cast of the film, Abhay Verma and Sharwari Wagh were in the lead roles. Apart from this, Sathyaraj and Mona Singh also played important roles. The budget of the film was 20 crores and the film managed to earn 6 times of its budget. Now fans are eagerly waiting for this movie on OTT. Hopefully the film can be released on the OTT platform by the end of August. However, the makers have not decided any fixed date yet. But the way the film has received such a good response in the theatres, it seems that the film can set a new record in terms of viewership as soon as it hits the OTT platform.
