Seeing so many dead bodies at once, the health of a Constable of Uttar Pradesh Police also deteriorated. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he also died during treatment. However, police officials attributed the constable’s death to illness. The deceased constable has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Kanpur, who is posted at QRT of Eta district police.
He was on duty outside the hospital after receiving information about the accident. As soon as the information about the accident in Hathras was received, the police of the nearby districts were alerted at the government level. After this, the Itah Police set up a QRT to manage and manage the accident victims. During this time a QRT of five constables was on duty outside Etah Medical College. As soon as Hathras accident victims started coming to this medical college, Constable Ravi managed for some time, but then his own condition worsened.
Death occurred during treatment
His body was restless and he was drenched in sweat. He immediately sought the help of his fellow constable and asked him to be taken to the AC chamber. Seeing his condition, the officials present there also asked him to be admitted to the hospital immediately. After this the policemen stationed there admitted Constable Ravi to the hospital and the doctors also started treatment, but he died within a few minutes. Doctors said that Ravi’s death was due to a heart attack.
