Mumbai has experienced consistent rainfall over the past three days, transitioning from light to heavy showers. This trend is expected to continue, with heavy rainfall anticipated on the first day of the week, potentially causing disruptions for commuters.

The Meteorological Department forecasts continuous rain for the next three to four days.
On Saturday, several areas, including Dadar, Parel, and Mumbai Central, reported substantial rainfall. In the past 24 hours, the Colaba weather station recorded 25 mm of rainfall, while Santacruz recorded 33 mm. The increased rainfall has also brought a welcome drop in temperatures for Mumbaikars.
The heavy rainfall warning is not confined to Mumbai alone; Thane and Palghar are also expected to experience very heavy rainfall. Additionally, Raigad and Ratnagiri districts should prepare for significant rainfall starting Monday.
Statewide, good rainfall is expected in regions like Vidarbha and Konkan, with Vidarbha likely to see gusty winds accompanying the rain. The Met department has specifically forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall for the Konkan region.
