- August 29: An orphan girl was raped and murdered in Hanskhali and dumped on railway tracks.

- August 30: A minor tribal girl was raped in Malda’s Habibpur.
- August 30: A class 2 minor was raped in Chandmari, Cooch Behar, under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station.
