A case of snake biting a youth 7 times has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur. But now a shocking revelation has come to light. Investigation revealed that the youth was bitten by the snake only once. But due to an illness, the young man kept thinking that a snake was biting him repeatedly. For this he also went to the hospital. Doctors also continued to treat him. When the health department submitted the report regarding the matter to the district magistrate, everyone was surprised. The youth was found to have snake phobia.
The Chief Health Officer of the district formed a three-member team to investigate the matter. The report cast doubt on the treatment at the private hospital. Vikas Dubey, a resident of Saura village in Fatehpur, claimed that he was bitten by a snake seven times in 40 days. This incident not only shocked the local people, but the case also became a topic of discussion among scientists and doctors.
Vikas claimed that he was working in his field when the snake first bit him. It was treated as a normal occurrence. But after this the snake kept biting him every week. He often went to a private hospital in Fatehpur for treatment. There he will be given an anti-venom injection. At the same time, he was given serious care. Vikas claimed that he was bitten multiple times by a single hooded snake. Vikas also said that a snake appeared in his dreams as well. In the dream, the snake said – I will bite you 9 times. 8 times you will be saved. But for the 9th time I will take you with me.
Even doctors make mistakes
The administration then investigated the incident. When the report came out, everyone was shocked. Due to snake phobia, Vikas felt that he was being bitten by snakes repeatedly. The chief health officer of the district said that the doctors who frequently treated Vikas were also at fault. If Vikas had been told in advance that he was not bitten by a snake, he might not have lived in fear for so long. A phobia is an irrational fear. A phobia occurs when something is greatly feared.
