Police arrested 4 other accused of Sultanpur robbery.
The police have made a major breakthrough in a robbery case that took place at the house of a bullion dealer in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur district about two weeks ago. The police on Wednesday arrested four criminals in the case with a reward of Rs 1 lakh each. Apart from this, the police have also seized jewelery worth crores from these miscreants. The police have also seized sophisticated weapons from the miscreants.
On August 28, commotion erupted in Thatheri Bazaar in Nagar Kotwali area when five miscreants on two bikes looted jewelery and cash worth lakhs from Bharat G Soni’s Om Ornament shop. The police had made more than a dozen people accused in the case. According to the police, the accused named Vipin Singh surrendered in another case in Rae Bareli court two days after the incident.
The police are taking continuous action
Five days later, on September 3, Pushpendra Singh, Sachin Singh and Tribhuvan alias Lala Harijan were arrested during an encounter at Godwa village in Nagar Kotwali. Around the same time, on September 5, another accused, Mangesh Yadav, a resident of Agora village in Buxa police station area of Jaunpur, was killed in an encounter by the STF at Mishirpur Puraina village in Dehat Kotwali area. Now on Wednesday the local police got another big success.

In this case, the police arrested the robbers named Durgesh, Arvind, Vivek and Vinay Shukla, who were accused of robbery in Thatheri market from Dubepur turn of Nagar Kotwali. Police have seized gold jewelery worth around Rs 2 crore, modern weapons and many other items from them.
Accused Vipin Singh surrendered in Rae Bareli court, after which Sultanpur police remanded him for 5 days. According to the police, the miscreants were arrested on the instructions of Vipin Singh. Bharat G Soni, a bullion trader affected by this police incident, seems satisfied. He says that the jewelery recovered by the police belongs to his shop. The victim believes that the police will soon recover the rest of the jewelry.
