4 Crore Ayushman Card, PM Shri Air Ambulance Service… This is how CM Mohan Yadav improved the health sector.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken new initiatives in the field of health services during his government tenure, due to which the state has now become a major hub for health services. Chief Minister Yadav said that in the last six months, the coming together of the Health Department and the Medical Education Department in the state has made it easier for people to get more facilities than before. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there have been extensive reforms in the health sector. Our goal is to improve the health of the common people.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the developed India campaign in Madhya Pradesh is being taken forward rapidly. Health services in the state have started yielding results due to the joint measures taken by the central and state governments.

PMShri Air Ambulance Service Scheme

PMShri Air Ambulance Service in this category is a unique initiative for the citizens of the state. This will make it easier for the needy to get the facility in case of emergency. Access to air ambulance service will provide convenience to people in areas where specialists cannot reach. Patients can also be airlifted to better medical centers.

The government has said that ‘Heli Ambulance’ and ‘Fixed Wing Converted Flying Ambulance’ have been launched for air ambulance service. These will be deployed in all districts. Air Ambulance will be manned by trained medical team and paramedical staff. As per requirement, patients from the state can be airlifted to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad or other medical institutions in the country.

Merger of Departments of Public Health and Medical Education

MP Government has informed that “Public Health and Medical Education Department” has been restructured in the state by merging Public Health and Family Welfare Department and Medical Education Department. This decision will provide better treatment in medical college instead of routine medical services. The focus will be on medical education. Child mortality rate and maternal mortality rate can be monitored.

Country’s first Prasadam at Mahakal Lok Complex

Under the ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ program of FSSAI, a prasadam has been developed between Neelkanth Forest Complex and Avantika Haat in Mahakal Mahalok at a cost of 1 crore 75 lakhs for environmental sanitation, nutritious and healthy food along with health services. In which 17 shops have been built to create a clean street food hub.

According to information, nursing colleges are going to be set up in 13 districts of Madhya Pradesh namely Datia, Khandwa, Ratlam, Shahdol, Vidisha, Chhindwara, Shivpuri, Satna, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Sheopur and Singrauli. 14.80 crore has been sanctioned for each nursing college. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has sanctioned a total of Rs 192.40 crore.

Apart from this, Rs 592.30 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a new Government Medical College in Ujjain in view of the Sinhasth 2028 programme, for the establishment of a Medical College on PPP mode.

Record 4 crore Ayushman cards

Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat), 34 crore Ayushman cards have been issued in the country so far. After Uttar Pradesh (5.09 crore), Madhya Pradesh (4 crore) is the second highest number of Ayushman cards issued and Bihar (2.91 crore) is third. While in Madhya Pradesh more than 19 lakh eligible citizens have received good treatment.
