Saints in Mahakumbh
Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the highest body of Hindu Sanatan Dharma Saints, is also in action after the Hathras incident. The Akhara Parishad has shown the way out of the Sant Samaj to the 13 Mahamandaleshwaras and saints who are violating the norms of the saints. Along with this, notices have been sent to 112 other saints and sages and their reply has been sought. All these saints have been asked to respond in writing by September 30. Action will be taken by the Akhara Parishad against any saint who does not answer or does not give a satisfactory answer.
These sages will not only be expelled from the Sant Samaj, but they will also not be allowed to enter the Mahakumbh to be held in 2025. This information was given by Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad. He said that in the Hathras incident it was revealed that Bhole Baba alias Narayan Sakar Hari had declared himself Swayambhu. Seeing this, the Akhara Parishad conducted a confidential investigation of many saints. Many of these saints did not meet the standards. His activities have been found to be against Sanatan Dharma and the customs and policies of the Akhara.
13 Expulsion of the Saints
Based on this, the Akhara Parishad has currently expelled 13 saints. Notices have been sent to another 112 saints and their reply has been sought by September 30. He said that among the saints who have been shown the way out are some Mahamandaleshwaras. According to Ravind Puri, president of the Akhara Parishad, every two-three years the performance of all the Mahamandleswaras, Mandalaswaras, Mahants, Srimahants are conducted confidentially to keep the saints associated with the Akhara free from guilt. The responsibility of the investigation is also handled by the officials of the Akhara.
The investigation is done on several parameters
Saints whose performance is found to be questionable are given notice by the Akhara Parishad and called to answer. After receiving the reply, it is analyzed and based on merit, they are warned or expelled from the field. He said that the job of a saint is to promote religious elements and not to glorify himself as God. Apart from this, how active the saint is in social work is also seen. Is it possible that he started doing contracts or brokerage to make money?
Notice has been given to these saints
According to the President of Akhara Parishad, notices have been given to 54 Saints of Juna Akhara, 24 of Niranjani and 34 of Nirmohi Akhara after investigation. It includes thirteen Mahamandaleswaras, 24 Mandalaswaras and many Sri Mahantas. According to Mr. Mahant Rajendra Das, President of Nirmohi Akhara and General Secretary of the Akhara Parishad, the Mahamandaleswaras include Jainendra Das, Mahamandaleswara Harendrananda of Chennai, Mahant Ramdas of Ahmedabad, Mahant Avdhuthananda of Udaipur, Mahant Vijayeshwara Das of Kolkata and Mandakini Puri. were expelled. Apart from this, notices have also been sent to eight saints from Nashik, six from Ujjain and Haridwar, 10 from Dwarka and one from Ranchi.
