Two Army jawans have been martyred, while one is reported injured in an encounter with terrorists in Kokarnag of Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The injured soldier has been admitted to hospital. A civilian was also killed in the clash while another was injured and hospitalized. The names of Lance Naik Praveen Sharma and Havildar Deepak Kumar Yadav are among the martyred jawans.
There are reports that two more terrorists are hiding in the forests of Gadol. Search operation is in progress. The encounter is going on in Anantnag since yesterday. After Anantnag, the encounter between security forces and terrorists continues in Kishtwar. Security forces have surrounded the terrorists and firing is going on from both sides. Army, paramilitary forces and police have taken over the position in this area.
In fact, continuous attacks are being carried out by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Angered by this, the terrorists are targeting the security forces and civilians there. There have been 11 terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 78 days. Terrorists are active in many areas of PoK. The ISI provided code words for infiltration. Terrorists are active in 20 areas of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Terrorist activities are being seen in the Kacharbans and canals of PoK. Terrorists are present in Kotli, Tattapani, Darde and Chand Tekri of PoK. Terrorists have been asked to wear Pathan suits. ‘Human shield’ and ‘mosque shield’ are likely to be used. The Indian Army has gone into alert mode after the terrorist activity along the LOC.
