A contractor’s driver in Bihar’s capital Patna lost Rs 20 lakh in a matter of Rs 10. The contractor was going somewhere in a car with three people. On the way he stopped the car and went to a nearby building for some work. The driver was told that there were lakhs of cash in the car. Take care of it. As soon as the contractors left, a man approached the driver. Said- There is a bundle of 10 rupees lying on the road. Maybe yours.

The driver got red after hearing this. He got down from the car and started picking up Rs 10 notes. The person who came later along with his accomplices picked up the bag lying inside the car and fled from there. The bag contained cash worth Rs 20 lakh. The driver chased the miscreants. But by then it was too late. He ran to his master. Told them perfectly. The contractor then went to the police station and lodged a complaint. Police say that this seems to be the work of a ‘not gang’. The miscreants of this gang deceive people by placing their currency notes on the ground and then loot their valuables and cash.

This case is from Shastrinagar area. A contractor’s driver residing in Saharsa district was victimized by the ‘not gang’ here on Monday at around 1 pm, near Vishweshwara Bhavan. Harishankar Jha, the victim contractor, along with three others had come to Vishveswarai Bhavan for some work. His driver parked the car on the side of the road. After this the contractors went inside the Visveshwaraya Bhavan.

By tempting the driver

Meanwhile, a man approached his driver and proceeded to say that a 10 rupee note had fallen on the road. The driver looked down and found the fallen notes. Out of greed, he started taking money, after which the miscreants removed the bag from the car and fled. When the driver went back, he saw the car gate open. A bag full of money kept inside was also missing. He was shocked to see this. He immediately informed his boss. When the driver told the whole story to the contractor, he realized that the miscreants had cheated him and withdrawn the money. After this he reached Shastrinagar police station and informed the police about the whole matter.

According to the police station, the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site are being examined. Investigation is going on in this matter. Even before this many such cases have come to light.
